Grade 5 Bible Study: A Kingdom Divided
This story tells what occurred in the aftermath of Solomon’s decision and death. Israel was divided under the ruling Rehoboam and was left with a portion of Judah, while Jeroboam ruled Israel. A series of unwise king ruled Israel and continue idolatry. This lesson teaches that idolatry is a sin, that we should always trust God and that no one is above His Law.
